MPC case study on a selective catalytic reduction in a power plant

摘要
•Model predictive control (MPC) with a gain scheduling model is applied for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) in a coal-fired power plant.•The gain scheduling model is developed by kernel density estimation and asymptotic identification method.•With the MPC, the SCR is able to reduce about 25% consumption of reagent and preventing ammonia slip.
