Simultaneous measurement of sulfur and lead isotopes in sulfides using nanosecond laser ablation coupled with two multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometers

摘要
•Simultaneous laser ablation can be used to determine S and Pb isotopes of sulphides.•A nanosecond laser ablation system was coupled with 2 multi-collector ICP-MS systems.•Process optimization and sample calibration were carried out for our tandem method.•Our results are consistent with that of existing stand-alone analyses.•Our method allows the simultaneous mapping of S and Pb in natural sulphide minerals.
