Optimal Strategy of Combined Operation of Wind, Solar and Storage Units

摘要
Recently, considering the new round of deregulation and reform of power industry and the rapid development of renewables in China, it is of great importance to study the optimal bidding strategy of combined operation of wind, solar units and energy storage systems participating in the electricity markets, thereby making the renewable generation companies more competitive and improving more renewable integrations. Therefore, the profit-maximization problem of joint wind, solar units and energy storage systems is established in this paper and various technical constraints of renewables units and storages are considered, to optimize the generation outputs and scheduling in the market-based environment. Then, numerical examples are implemented to validate the optimal scheduling problem of joint wind, solar units and energy storage systems and to analyze the advantages of optimal strategy of the combined operation mode.
