摘要
This paper presents the design of an electrically excited claw pole generator with an adapted efficiency curve for the use of regenerative energy sources in the range of low power up to 2000 watt. The concept is based on the use of a directly driven, electrically excited synchronous generator, which allows the use of the relatively low speeds of, e.g. wind and water turbines or stirling engines without a transmission gear. The operating point of maximum efficiency can be adjusted due to the variable excitation to the technically most favorable operating range of the system. The focus is on the use in small wind turbines whose potential in domestic and low-wind locations has been largely untapped so far. Chapters II and III present the design and technical implementation of the machine. Chapter IV shows the measurement results of the stationary and thermal behavior.
