摘要
•A one week increase in day and night temperature during vegetative development results in a delay of the generative switch.•Elevated temperature also increased variation in timing of this switch in sensitive cauliflower cultivars only.•Exposure to elevated temperature did not delay gene expression patterns of most flowering time genes in the temperature sensitive genotypes.
