Base-assisted stereoselective H/D-exchange in the backbone of a Pd(PNP) 2 Cl 2 complex

摘要

The Pd(PNP)2Cl2 complex (PNP = 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-3,6-diphenyl-1-aza-3,6-diphosphacycloheptane) was synthesized with yields of 24%. Crystals were obtained and the structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The addition of diisopropylethylamine in methanol-d4 led to a stereoselective H/D exchange in the backbone proving the possibility of functionalization. This exchange was characterized by time resolved 1H-NMR-spectroscopy.
