A Mixed-Signal Charge-Mode Synapse Circuit with Good Linearity and Low Power Consumption

摘要
This paper presents a mixed-signal synapse circuit utilizing the variability of metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) capacitors. Its major advantage is its combination of good linearity and low power consumption because it works in the charge domain without quiescent current. The circuit was fabricated using 0.18-μm CMOS technology. It achieves a relative nonlinearity of less than 2.8% and a total power consumption of 27.432 μW with a core area of 0.052 mm 2 .
