摘要
Objective: Millions of women in the workforce suffer from abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB). With approximately 60% of working-age women enrolled in self-insured, employer-sponsored insurance plans, the purpose of this study was to estimate the direct and indirect costs that these employers bear for their employees who have surgical treatment of AUB with global endometrial ablation (GEA), outpatient hysterectomy (OPH), and inpatient hysterectomy (IPH).
