摘要
The interface perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA) is known to be induced at the interface between a ferromagnetic metal (FM) layer and a non-magnetic (NM) heavy-metal layer such as Platinum or Palladium (Pd) in a FM/NM bilayer or multilayer film.In the present work, we grow Pd/Cobalt bi-layer and Pd/Co/Pd continuous tri-layer films on rigid silicon (Si, Young's modulus of 200 GPa) substrates and on flexible Kapton ® (Kpt, Young's modulus of 4 GPa) and expose the grown films to hydrogen gas (H 2 ) or elastic stress. The films are deposited with magnetron sputtering. We also investigate deformation (bending) of the films.
