Development of a finger adapter method for testing and evaluating vibration-reducing gloves and materials.

•A novel method was proposed to measure gloved-finger vibration transmissibility.•A new finger adapter was designed and fabricated to conduct the measurement.•Evaluate the effectiveness of vibration-reducing gloves at the fingers and palm.•Gloved-finger transmissibility were affected by glove type and hand force.•Vibration-reducing gloves can protect fingers from high-frequency vibrations.
