Abstract
The use of Veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA ECMO) to support patients in Cardiogenic Shock (CS) in the elderly has been rarely documented. We sought to evaluate the outcomes of VA ECMO in CS in patients older than 70 years of age.
