Su1335 Experience with a Novel Eus-Guided Core Biopsy Needle (acquire™): A Pilot Study

The success of endoscopic ultrasound-guided tissue acquisition (EUS-TA) depends on several variables, including the selection of an appropriate needle. Recent EUS needle designs seek to improve the quality and quantity of material acquired. Unlike standard EUS needles with a sharp tip for aspiration, novel needles have cutting edges, specifically designed to capture core tissue. This study aimed to evaluate the performance of one such novel EUS needle, the Acquire™ Endoscopic Ultrasound Fine Needle Biopsy Device (Boston Scientific).
