Atenolol treatment for severe Infantile Hemangiomas: a single‐centre prospective study

Infantile hemangiomas (IHs) are common benign vascular tumors of infancy with an incidence of 4-5% 1. The majority of IHs are self-limited, though in approximately 10% of patients, when their lesions compromise vital and sensory functions or cause disfigurement, medical treatment is warranted 2,3.
