Abstract
•Two instruments onboard Cassini observed a solar occultation by Enceladus’ plume.•These occultation data measure the plume’s dust and gas content at the same time.•In-situ instruments have also measured the dust-to-gas ratio in the plume.•There are large spatial variations in the dust-to-gas ratio of Enceladus’ plume.•Baghdad/Damascus sulci emit more dust-rich material than Cairo/Alexandria sulci.
