摘要
Having poor judgement of fearful and happy facial expressions is a well-established feature of bipolar disorder (BD). Few neuroimaging studies have compared brain activation in response to affective facial expression across the lifespan of BD and high-risk individuals. This cross-sectional study compared functional activation in relevant fronto-limbic and cingulate regions during a task of implicit emotion processing in pediatric and adult BD and the offspring of parents with BD.
