A2991 Expression and Clinical Significance of Mirna-29A in Hypertensive Patients with Left Ventricular Hypertrophy

Objectives: To explores the miRNA-29a in hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) and in patients with simple hypertension, the expression difference and its relationship with hypertrophy. Methods: Consecutive group outpatient 44 hypertension patients with LVH (n = 44), and 122 simple hypertension patients (n = 122), take blood sample, use RT-PCR method to determine the content of miRNA-29a in plasma. The left ventricular mass index (LVMI) was computed by echocardiography, with PWTd, IVSd, LVIDd and height. To determine whether there is LVH. Compare the relationship between cyclic miRNA-29a content and hypertension with LVH. Results: correlation analysis found that miRNA-29a in patients with hypertension with LVH expressed significantly higher than simple hypertensive patients (p < 0.01). A single factor correlation analysis found that miRNA-29a was associated with left ventricular remodeling, such as LVMI, PWTd, IVSd, LVIDd, LVIDs (p < 0.01). Further application of multivariate linear regression removed traditional risk factors (including gender, age,SBP,DBP,BMI, the course of hypertension, antihypertensive drugs, etc.), found that the miRNA-29a is still related to the above ultrasonic parameters. The area under the receiver operating characteristic (AUROC) for the subject is 0.89, miRNA-29a cut-off is 0.439, the sensitivity is 82.9%, and the specificity is 81.9%. Conclusion: The patient's with hypertension with LVH cycle miRNA-29a level is significantly higher than the simple hypertension one, and is associated with cardiac echocardiographic parameters of ventricular remodeling, miRNA-29a can be used as a molecular marker for hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy.
