Modelling and parameter identification of electromechanical systems for energy harvesting and sensing

摘要
•A novel parameter identification method is proposed to model electro-mechanical systems for energy harvesting and sensing.•Convergence of the numerical procedure is ensured by Lyapunov theory and a sensitivity analysis feedback block is employed for the implementation.•The capability of the new algorithm is assessed by modelling an array of piezoelectric bimorphs subjected to environmental vibrations.•Comparisons of finite element and lumped element results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy for both online and offline applications.
