摘要
Background and Objectives: There is little data in maternal and fetal outcome in patients with rheumatic heart disease (RHD). We sought to examine the “natural history” of RHD patients and risk factors of adverse maternal, fetal and neonatal outcome. Methods: Our study cohort included 76 pregnancies from 74 patients with RHD, divided into 2 subgroups: 1) 33 pregnancies with history of cardiac valve surgery (Group 1), and 2) 43 pregnancies without cardiac valve surgery (Group 2), in Beijing Anzhen Hospital. Clinical data, and adverse maternal cardiovascular events (acute heart failure, sustained symptomatic tachy-arrhythmia requiring treatment, stroke or cardiac death), as well as fetal and neonatal events (spontaneous abortion, fetal anomaly, iatrogenic induced labor, iatrogenic premature labor, respiratory distress syndrome, fetal death, and neonatal death) were obtained. Uni-variable and multi-variable logistic regression analysis were performed to stratify risks of the adverse maternal and fetal outcom...
