A Novel Method for the Optimal Frequency Band Selection of Rolling Element Bearing Faults Diagnosis Based on Frequency Domain Multipoint Kurtogram

In this paper, a novel mothed was proposed for selection of the optional frequency band. Multipoint kurtosis of the envelope spectrum instead of the kurtosis of the envelope spectrum was utilized to generate the frequency domain multipoint kurtogram, in which the maximum multipoint kurtosis can indicate the optimal band for envelope analysis. Several experimental bearing fault cases are used to evaluate the immunity of the proposed method.
