摘要
Background: The decellularization technology have been applied to various tissue engineering and regenerative medicine successfully and decellularization procedures have been developed for target tissues and organs of interest. However, due to the low regenerative potential of CNS, the study to promote regeneration and functional recovery after injury has made slow progress. Objective: To provide a guidance for the study of decellularized scaffold in CNS. Methods: To analyze the most commonly used decellularization methods, and to compare the current literature for the study of decellularized scaffold in CNS. Conclusion: A combination of different methods might be the best approach to produce the decellularized scaffold in CNS. However, a large number of studies are still needed to study the effects of different factors upon the resulting scaffold and unify the parameters within the process of decellularization.
