摘要
Introduction: A common drawback of standard non-invasive (current controlled) brain stimulation (NIBS) techniques is their inability to selectively target non-superficial regions of interests (ROIs). Temporal Interference (TI) stimulation is a recently published approach based on the superposition of two or more electric fields at distinct but nearby high frequencies that combine to create a low-frequency amplitude-modulated field. This technique exploits the selective response of neurons to a low-frequency envelope and not the higher-frequency "carrier" fields.
