Polarization-Insensitive Ultra-Thin Carpet Cloak

摘要
In this paper, a polarization-insensitive ultrathin carpet cloak is proposed. The cloak is composed by two identical ultrathin grounded dielectric slabs with metallic polarization-Insensitive structure on the other sides to form a triangular region. This proposed carpet cloak utilizes the different reflected phase provided by the composed unit to compensate the phase difference of electromagnetic wave between the adjacent units, resulting in a good effect of mimicking horizontal reflection. Both the simulation and experiment result verify polarization-insensitive cloaking effect.
