摘要
Metasurfaces (MS) allow the base for manifold number of applications rendering to exotic properties mostly not found in nature. These surfaces are contrived using metallic array or dielectric subwavelength resonators. In this paper, we have constructed an extend split ring resonator (SRR) type unit in the Microwave frequency range. The SRR is printed on a FR-4 dielectric stacked by a copper metallic ground. The results shows that the surface is capable of polarization conversion in three distinct frequency bands, i.e. 7-10 GHz (wideband), 11-12.4 GHz and 13.7-16.8 GHz. The polarization conversion ratio is equal to 100 % in all the three-frequency band which makes it perfect polarization converter in these bands. In addition to linear-tolinear polarization conversion, the surface is also capable of linear-to-circular polarization. The surface can be used in a variety of wireless applications, including antennas and stealth technology.
