Effects of different temperatures on the lamellar structure evolution in γ-TiAl alloys: A phase-field study

•TiAl alloys lamllar structure is studied by phase field method.•The sublattice model can describe free energy of intermetallic compounds.•Gradient descent method simplifies the complexity of sublattice models.•New potential well function is proposed to reduce mathematical errors.
