Study of the Mobile Money Diffusion Mechanism in the MTN-Cameroon Mobile Network: A Model Validation

With a high rate of subscribers to mobile and a low rate of bank account, mobile money is a clear opportunity for Cameroonians to better manage financial transactions and risks. While in certain countries it has taken less than two years to be adopted massively, its diffusion among mobile subscribers in Cameroon is still very slow, with less than 5% regular users four years after being launched.
