Quantitative analysis of ammonia adsorption in Ag/AgI-coated hollow waveguide by mid-infrared laser absorption spectroscopy

摘要
•The dynamic process of NH3 adsorption and desorption in an Ag/AgI-HWG was quantitatively analyzed.•The density of NH3 adsorption was of the order of 1015 molecules/cm2 which indicates that the type of adsorption in the Ag/AgI-HWG is multilayer adsorption•Adsorption kinetic of ammonia on Ag/AgI-HWG was consistent with the pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order kinetic model, BET model and the differential heats of adsorption was determined quantitatively.
