Dynamical sparse signal recovery with fixed-time convergence

•A dynamical system with fixed-time convergence property is proposed to solve the sparse recovery problem.•The proposed algorithm has fast speed.•The convergence time has a upper bound that is independent of initial condition.•The fixed-time convergence property of the proposed system is proved theoretically.
