•A novel MIP/perovskite CsPbBr3 QDs fluorescence sensor for phoxim detection.•A siloxane functional monomer with two kinds of functional groups has been synthesized.•The MIP/QDs were synthesized by slowly hydrolyzing the organosilicon monomers in situ.•The QDs were encapsulated in an imprinted silica matrix, which improved the stability of the QDs.
