Interface engineering of ultrananocrystalline diamond/MoS2-ZnO heterostructures and its highly enhanced hydrogen gas sensing properties

摘要
•Ultra-nanocrystalline diamond/molybdenum disulfide/zinc oxide nanorods. (UNCD/MoS2/ZNRs) nanohybrids were synthesized.•For the first time, UNCD/MoS2/ZNRs hybrid material based H2 sensing properties were studied.•The present sensor shows excellent gas sensitivity of 70.6%, overwhelmingly superior to that of ZNRs (7.2%).•UNCD/MoS2/ZNRs nanohybrid is highly promising compared to ZnO, nanodiamond and MoS2 based H2 sensors to-date.
