摘要

•Sialyltransferase (PmST1) was surface displayed by using OmpC as an anchor protein.•Expression levels of PmST1 on wildtype the outer membrane of E. coli (BL21) and ClearColi were compared.•Enzyme activity of both PmST1s was measurement of product concentration of CMP.•The differences in kinetic parameters (Vmax, KM, kcat) of PmST1 from both strains were estimated.
