Synthesis and characterization of AgO/g-C3N4 hybrids with enhanced visible-light photocatalytic activity for Rhodamine B degradation and bactericidal inactivation

摘要
AgO/g-C3N4 hybrids have been prepared by growing and anchoring AgO nanoparticles on the surface of g-C3N4 via chemical oxidation. The hybrids showed improved photodegradation effects for RhB and bactericidal activity under visible light irradiation in comparison to g-C3N4. The hybrids showed lower bandgap, weaker intensity of the PL, stronger photocurrent and smaller charge transfer resistence, which improved the photocatalytic activity.
