Abstract
This paper present, a Low Cost and High-Performance UHF RFID System using Arduino Based on IoT Applications for Marathon Competition, by designing and constructing an antenna for readers, tag antenna, program for to read and write data into tags and application display on the Android operating system. The system is designed and fabricated in very low cost about 5000 baht. The measurement results of the reader antenna has a gain is 7.24 dBi, it has radiation pattern is Directional, Tag antenna has a gain is 2.05 dBi, it has radiation pattern is Omni-directional, and the system have good test results. The results of the coverage range it can be covered in 8 running lane and program can correctly classify runners. The system can store race data in the cloud storage system.
