21 – Efficacy and Safety of Ursodeoxycholic Acid in the Prevention of Gallstone Formation after Gastrectomy in Patients with Gastric Cancer: A Multicenter, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study (Pegasus-D Study)

Background: The incidence of gallstones has been reported to be increase following gastrectomy. However, there have been few studies on the prevention of gallstone formation in those patients. This study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) in the prevention of gallstone formation after gastrectomy in patients with gastric cancer.
