Switching for convenience from first-line injectable treatments to oral treatments in multiple sclerosis: Data from a retrospective cohort study

•The switch for convenience from first-line injectable to oral therapy appears to be safe.•However, this switch appears to be detrimental for a minority of patients (<10%).•Early-relapsing patients after the switch are younger, with a more recent disease onset.
