摘要

•CDH of Termitomyces clypeatus possesses distinct carbohydrate binding module.•First report of three domains- cytochrome, dehydrogenase, CBM in basidiomycete CDH.•Dehydrogenase domain is devoid of cellulose binding residues.•Phylogenetic analysis clusters it with the CDH of ascomycetes group of fungi.•Possible phylogenetic status of this fungus have been discussed.
