摘要

•Dual-responsive paclitaxel-loaded nanoparticles (NPs) based on chitosan were fabricated.•These allowed hyaluronic acid-mediated targeting of CD44-overexpressing breast cancer cells.•The NPs showed great promise in breast cancer therapy, both in vitro and in vivo.
