Seasonality of acne severity in Korean patients: data from a dermatologic clinic and military hospital.

Although seasonal patterns of acne have been suspected clinically, there are limited and conflicting researches on whether disease flares follow seasonality.[1, 2] Western dermatologists have suggested that acne improves in summer and worsens in winter.[1] However, there are reported cases of acne worsening in summer, and per our personal experience, the number of patients presenting with acne increases during summer.
