摘要

•Vertical transmission of dengue in mother and baby was observed in Jambi, Indonesia.•Clinical features were described, with mother experiencing severe dengue.•Dengue virus RNAs were extracted from sera of both mother and baby.•NGS sequencing revealed identical DENV genomes in mother and baby.•Both mother and neonate possess anti-dengue antibodies measured using PRNT.
