摘要

•C and N transformation and equilibrium were studied in four composting methods.•Turning and forced aeration accelerated composting, but increased C and N losses.•A tradeoff was found between NH3 reduction and N2O emission after acidification.•Forced aeration with acid treated got best quality product, lowest N loss and GWP.
