摘要

•Both UBTF isoforms are distributed and organized differently within nucleolar FC.•Results are included into a model of 3D organization of active transcribing r-gene.•Similar distribution of both isoforms is observed when rRNA synthesis is inhibited.•Roles for both variants are suggested in the organization of active/inactive r-genes.
