Abstract
•A new and accurate Monte Carlo model of Varian TrueBeam Flattening Filter Free treatment units was created in EGSnrc code.•Three treatment units were commissioned under the model and focal spot was independently measured.•The model was further validated by comparing simulated dose distributions with measurements showing an excellent agreement.
