摘要
A 3-D finite element multiphysics modeling is proposed to investigate magnetoelectric composites (MECs) according to two different polarization/magnetization modes. The modeling includes a multi-scale model of non-linear magnetostrictive materials for the magnetostatic biasing regime and takes into account the effect of the eddy currents for the dynamic regime. For the validation, the simulation of a laminated composite disk under a magnetic bias is performed. The simulation results with regard to the static magnetic field dependence, frequency dependence, and the output deliverable power are presented and compared with the measurement results available in the literature.
