摘要
Non-ampullary duodenal adenomas are polypoid lesions classically related to polyposis syndromes but can also occur in sporadic cases. The management and removal of duodenal adenomas is important due to them having potential to progress on the adenoma-carcinoma sequence pathway. Although previously routinely managed with surgery, the recent decade has led immense growth in endoscopic management of these lesions. However, due to various factors, including a large vascular supply and thin duodenal wall, there are still prevailing concerns. In this study, we examine our experience and outcomes in endoscopic resections of duodenal adenomas at a large tertiary-care cancer center.
