摘要
Usefulness of Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) for the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis (CP) is well recognized. Rosemont classification (RC) is well-known as EUS diagnostic criteria for CP, however, it is a consensus by the experts and it has some problems. i) Interobsever agreement(IOA) is low in some criteria, ii) ‘Normal’ is ≦2 mainor features ‘Excludes cysts, dilated MPD, hyperechoic nonshadowing foci dilated side branch’ . What should we do in the case having cysts only. iii) RC is too complicated in daily clinical use. To resolve those problems we chose 5 criteria, which had relatively good IOA in RC. The aim of this study was to evaluate usefulness of the convenient classification ‘Minimum Rosemont criteria (MRC) as compared to RC.
