摘要
India is at a crossroads on the journey towards universal health coverage (UHC). The first 12 months of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, under the lead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have seen an arguably unprecedented momentum in reforms of the healthcare landscape. In the draft National Health Policy, published for public consultation in November 2014, the Government of India reaffirmed its commitment to universal health coverage (UHC) (1). This report presents recommendations on how India can achieve better healthcare through the use of Healthcare Technology Assessment and priority setting.
