A Broadband Sum-frequency Generation Vibrational Spectrometer to Probe Adsorbed Molecules on Nanoparticles

摘要
•In the study of heterogeneous catalysis, it is more popular to in situ characterize the catalytic materials with high surface areas under operating conditions, high pressure and high temperature. Luo et al. developed a new setup to obtain the sum-frequency generation vibrational spectroscopy of the adsorbed molecules on nanoparticles under high pressure and high temperature conditions. They have demonstrated its performance with CO adsorbed on Pt nanoparticles under the high CO pressure and the high temperature environment.
