3d Printing Integrated Fabrication Of Cathodeheater Assembly

This paper reports on a new type of cathode heater assembly and uses the selective laser melting (SLM) technology in 3D printing to achieve an integrated fabrication process. A thermal resistance of about 0.4 Omega. is reached after the excess heater sub-support columns are fused with a high energy laser. After applying a heating power of 21.6 W, the heater generated by the SLM reached a temperature of 1250 degrees C.
