摘要
Morphology and mesoporosity of zeolite are two vital properties to determine its performance in diverse applications involving catalysis, adsorption, and separation; therefore, synthesis of zeolite with exceptional morphology and architecture has attracted much attention in recent years. Herein, a crossed MFI zeolite is fabricated using a bifunctional surfactant as SDA, and the physical as well as chemical properties of it including mesoporosity, particle size, and Si/Al ratio are controllably regulated by fine-tuning the synthesis parameters, such as H2O/SiO2 and NaOH/SiO2 ratios. In addition, the catalytic performance of the harvested MFI zeolites with different morphologies is thoroughly studied by LDPE cracking reaction. The results declare that the activation energy of this reaction can be effectively reduced with the aid of crossed MFI zeolite so that the reaction activity is extremely enhanced. This work opens a bright road to tailor the properties and performance of zeolite solely by facilely altering its synthesis parameters.
