Similarity laws for transpired turbulent flows subjected to pressure gradients, separation and wall heat transfer

•Mean velocity and temperature profiles are self-similar with respect to the injection/suction velocity when scaled by new scaling parameters.•New wall laws for flows with wall transpiration and non-zero pressure gradients were obtained.•A universal law of the wake can be obtained provided the intermittent character of the turbulent flow is considered.
