The Cu2O nanoparticles decorated reduced graphene oxide (Cu2O/rGO) as cathode catalyst of simple-chamber microbial fuel cells can produce higher the maximum output voltage and coulombic efficiency compared with commercial Pt/C (20 wt%) catalyst.
